Revenues up 27 percent in fiscal first half.
 
The online gambling operations of Sky Betting and Gaming reported revenues that rose 27 percent to GBP 84 million in the first half of its fiscal year ended December 31, posted this week.
 
Player numbers surged 15 percent, and the company reported operating profits up 25 percent to GBP25 million.
 
Management attributed the positive performance to efficient mobile apps and a revamp of the Sky Poker software, a trend that it expects will continue with the adaptation of the company's new HTML5 software to tablet use.
