Mobile gambling solutions provider Spin3, a Microgaming associate, has entered the sports betting sector with a new app branded SpinSport, described as a pure native app specifically designed for leading mobile devices including iPhone, iPod and iPad.
 
The SpinSport app is powered by an advanced sportsbook engine from Sports Betting Tech, and will first launch under the 10Bet brand on the Apple App store later in Q1 2011.
 
A company spokesman said that SpinSport will be available as a white label product to existing online sportsbooks wanting to extend customer offerings to mobile, as well as to online and mobile e-gaming operators keen to provide their punters with a mobile sports betting platform.
 
The new app includes smart personalisation based on the player’s betting history, and full banking and cashier functionality. The gaming experience is further enhanced with quick navigation, live betting across a wide range of sporting events and GPS location to ensure players are wagering from an authorised location.
 
Matti Zinder, head of Spin3, said the company has applied its considerable experience in mobile handset technology, interface design, usability and back-office technology in the development of SpinSport. “The rapid increase in the use of smartphones has led to amazing growth in mobile sports betting.
