Vladimir Bozinovic Wins WPT Baden

Sunday February 24,2013 : SERB TRIUMPHANT IN WORLD POKER TOUR BADEN

Vladimir Bozinovic fights off some formidable challengers

Cool-as-ice Serbian poker player Vladimir Bozinovic bested a tough final table that included top German pro Marvin Rettenmaier on the fifth day of the World Poker Tour Baden over the weekend to take home the $272,258 main prize.

The event attracted 254 entrants, which by the fifth day had been distilled to a final table led by Bozinovic that comprised Marvin Rettenmaier, Paul Berende, Oswin Ziegelbecker, Kimmo Kurko and Grzegorz Wyraz.

At one point it looked as if Rettenmaier would emerge as the winner, but the opposition was impressive, and the German ace found himself headed for the exit in fifth position after being busted out by Finnish player Kimmo Kurko.

In the end it was Paul Berende who faced Bozinovic in the heads up, with the aggressive-minded Serb holding the advantage and quickly eliminating his opponent.
