The ESPN television network has released Nielsen stats on viewership during the main event 2011 World Series of Poker action that culminated in a final table recently.
 
Independent Nielsen numbers on the daily live coverage of the 2011 WSOP Main Event showed an increase in double digits compared to the 2010 figures, illustrating increased rather than decreased interest in the game.
 
The 10 episodes on ESPN averaged 351,000 households, which translates to 415,000 viewers, the network advised.
