Emil Sunvisson new president of Cherryforetagen AB

Betsafe exec gets the top job at Cherryforetagen
 
Emil Sunvisson has been named as the new president and chief executive of Swedish online gambling company Cherryforetagen AB, replacing Gunnar Lind, whose departure after five years at the helm was recently announced.
 
Stockholm-based Cherryforetagen operates the PlayCherry.com online gaming site alongside NorgesAutomaten.com, SverigeAutomaten.com and DanmarksAutomaten.com.
 
Sunvisson will take up his responsibilities on August 1 after resigning as a member of its board of directors with Lind remaining within the organisation during the transition period.
 
In addition to his board duties at Cherryforetagen, Sunvisson has gained experience in the gaming industry from time spent as chairman for fellow operator Betsafe and as a board member for Swedish online gambling group Betsson AB.
 
The 39-year-old executive has also worked for i.a. Glocalnet/Telenor, France Telecom, Siemens and Cap Gemini and most recently served as a partner for ScandCap where he was responsible for several major business transactions.
