BETFAIR AND GRAN CASINO COSTA BRAVA PARTNER IN AMATEUR POKER TOURNEY
Posted 1/8/11 : Only a week to go before APAT Southern European Amateur Poker Championship kicks off
The internet poker division of online gambling group Betfair has partnered with Spanish land casino Gran Casino Costa Brava to present the APAT Southern European Amateur Poker Championship on the 15th and 16th of this (January) month.
The event will be the first live poker tourney in Catalonia, with a limit of 150 players and registration fees of GBP75 or Euro equivalent.
Casino chief exec, Gianfranco Scordato, said this week; "The casino is located in Lloret de Mar, one of the main tourist destinations in southern Europe. The venue is the first location in Catalonia with live poker ‘built in'."
Betfair Poker has been running satellites since November and a good turnout is expected.
