Third DDOS Attack Against another gambling portal

3/16/10 – A third online gambling information website, the Online Players Union.com, was subjected to a distributed denial of service (DDoS) attack Tuesday morning, taking the site down for some 2 hours.
 
Like the attack on Online Casino Reviewer.com  the latest attack was not particularly effective or sophisticated, emanating from six rapidly rotating IPs with a large number of db error emails generated through Fast Trac Traffic Builder.com.
 
The host network quickly flagged the climbing traffic and automatically blocked the assault, mitigating its impact.
 
Online Players Union has, like the other information portals attacked, carried warnings about rogue casinos as a service to Internet players.
