Lotus F1 Racing Team to sport Interwetten logo
Industry veteran online sportsbetting provider Interwetten has become the official sponsor of the Lotus F1 Racing Team for the first time, kicking off with drivers Kimi Räikkönen and Romain Grosjean bearing the Interwetten logo in the upcoming Formula 1 race in Barcelona this weekend.
“I am proud to now be working with a successful partner in Interwetten,” said Patrick Louis, chief executive officer of the Lotus F1 Team. The Interwetten Group is well known for its sponsoring activities in the world of motorsport. Over the years young, up-and-coming talents on both two and four wheels have been supported."
"We are of course very happy that a team as successful as Lotus has taken us on board, and wants to celebrate many more Formula 1 triumphs with us,” added Dr. Birgit Bosch, chief operating officer of the Interwetten Group.
Other Interwetten sponsorships include the World Series by Renault, the successful Interwetten Paddock Grand Prix Team, which races in the Moto2 class, FC Sevilla in Spain and five clubs in Italy's Serie A.
