Online gambling action videostreamed from a UK-licensed casino

The Great Yarmouth, UK-based land operation The Palace Casino is launching its live dealer action today (August 17th) at Palaceslive.com, utilising 3D technology from the Hermes-Softlab group to videostream the action direct to players on the Internet.

Operated by Palatial Leisure Limited, the land operation carries a licence from the UK Gambling Commission, making it possible for the company to offer what is believed to be the first UK-based live dealer offering direct from a casino in that country.

Managing director Patrick Duffy said this week that technology and the Internet enabled the player to more closely experience the true ambience and gambling action direct from a real casino instead of a manufactured product streamed from a studio.
