Uk Racing On IPHONE

5/6/10 – UK horse racing fans on the move will now be able to access race information and video content on the ‘sport of kings’ following the inception of an iPhone-based mobile service by Racing UK.
 
Based on Racing UK's iCard, the app features fast-loading cards and results, along with racecourse information, statistics, predictions and video clips from the broadcaster's archive – all on a free download.
 
Users can upgrade to a data application version for watching live Racing UK programming over 3G and wireless networks priced at GBP 14.95 for one month's access or GBP 149.99 for a full year.
 
"The app itself is free and gives racing fans a state-of-the-art comprehensive one stop shop for all their racing needs," said Racing UK's head of online Simon Brydon.
 
"Aside from the vast racing database, there is now no excuse to miss the live racing. For a subscription upgrade you can watch high quality video on wireless or 3G networks every Racing UK meeting.
 
"And using the wireless network streaming capability on your iPhone, iTouch or iPad, you can even stream Racing UK when you're abroad at no extra cost."
 
The iPhone app follows the launch of Racing UK's mobile WAP site m.racinguk.com, which enables users to watch live racing.
