Poker : iPops series

December 8, 2011 : iPoker looking forward to another big crowd this week

Playtech's iPoker network appears to have a winning formula in its iPops series, reporting that over 60,000 poker enthusiasts from around the world participated in the network's recent $1,000,000 Guaranteed Prizes Tournament Series.

iPOPS offered players the chance to win massive cash prizes at four online tournaments for exceptionally low buy-ins starting from just 10c in the promo, in which a useful $500,000 dollars in prizes was awarded to the top players of the first three iPOPS main events. The fourth and final main event, iPOPS 4, attracted over 3,000 players and progressed until only 27 finalists remained.

The iPOPS 4 tournament will resume at the upcoming iPOPS Live event, where the finalists will gather at the Ambassador Casino in Prague to play out the final round face-to-face this week, commencing December 9 and running through to December 11.

It is iPoker's first ever offline event, sponsored by network partners William Hill, Titan Poker and Parimatch. The program includes 3 days of full-on poker action, with a special player welcome party.
