Kunal Mishra is taking on a heavy workload.

Spin Games, the US-based developer and supplier of land and online interactive games, has announced the appointment of a new president and chief financial officer.

Kunal Mishra takes over as president and chief financial officer from Spin Games founder Kent Young who continues to serve the company as chief executive officer and will focus on strategic objectives.

"I am pleased to welcome Kunal to Spin Games, as his deep industry experience in management, product development and commercialization will help us achieve our strategic objectives," said Young.

"His appointment is an integral element of our development and operational strategies, and I am confident that his extensive leadership skills and global gaming industry expertise will drive Spin Games forward as a top provider of interactive content and gaming technology products within the industry."

Mishra's gaming industry experience spans nearly 20 years with a focus on slot machine and systems design and development that includes extensive commercialization, product management, marketing, off-shore development, and executive experience in building and directing domestic and international teams.

Most recently he served as managing partner of Hayabusa Portfolio LLC where he was a consultant to gaming equipment and technology manufacturers and casinos. He also served as liaison between US based investors and Japanese property management and real estate investment companies.

His previous industry roles include serving as General Manager for JCM's Global Asia Pacific division, and service as Vice President of Product Management and Marketing for Cadillac Jack where he was instrumental in the company's entry into several Latin America markets.
