Uk Gambling Commission Publishes Changes

Effective August 1, 2014
The UK Gambling Commission has published its first stage of amendments to the License Conditions and Codes of Practice (LCCP) applicable to licenced gambling operators.
Following consultations towards the end of last year, the commission will publish changes to the LLCP in three stages however all three are expected to come into force on August 1, 2014.
–     Part one: published 31 March. Includes the majority of the LCCP changes applying to non-remote operators and to both non-remote and remote operators, such as those relating to complaints and disputes and information requirements.
–     Part two: Protection of customer funds. The revised provisions on this topic will apply to both remote and non-remote operators. This will be published towards the end of April 2014.
–     Part three: Will contain the remaining changes and will be relevant mainly for remote operators, such as those on display of licensed status, requirements to use only gambling software supplied by licensed operators, poker and other networks, and payment processors. At this stage a consolidated version of LCCP will be published. This will be published towards the end of April 2014.
