Online Poker Market Declines 7 Percent

End of big Pokerstars promos signals a drop in cash game traffic.
 
Overall online poker revenues declined 7 percent last week as big money promos from industry leader Pokerstars saw cash game traffic at the company's sites noticeably ease 13 percent.
 
Pokerstars continued to dominate the market with a seven day cash-game player average of just on 19,500, with 888Poker a poor rival in second place at 2,400 players and Playtech's iPoker network third with 2,100.
 
Full Tilt, PartyPoker and Bodog followed, with the final four of the top ten sites including the Italian and Spanish Pokerstars sites, French leader Winamax and, in the tenth spot, Adjarabet.
