New Online Poker Start Up

NEW ONLINE POKER START-UP SCHEME LAUNCHED

Malta and Russian companies combine to create low-cost opportunities for would-be operators.

The Malta-based online poker brand PokerGrant and EvenBet Gaming, a subsidiary of Russian software development group Enterra have partnered up to launch a new start-up focused enterprise providing prospective operators with real-money poker skins on its new network.

The network is designed for poker start-ups with a low initial budget, with what the partnership claims are relatively low set-up costs and rake commissions, allowing new poker skins to spend more on player engagement and retention.

Licensing is included in the deal, although the partnership has not indicated from which jurisdiction this will come.

From sign-up to operational start-up, new operators can be in business within two weeks, the partnership claims. The unquoted initial set-up fee includes two types of poker client software (desktop and Android for mobile), back office and basic software customisation, changing logos, colours and other minor design changes.

No fixed payments are required for network partners. The current rake commission ranges from 10 percent to 20 percent of gross total rake, which is paid monthly.
