The UK online sportsbook provider Openbet has inked a deal with Echo Sports Limited, creator of the Player Manager fantasy sports product.

The agreement means that OpenBet's sportsbook customers will be able to integrate Player Manager into their existing product offering and tap into an additional fantasy sports attraction.

Player Manager is a player-auction game based on the English Premier League. Unique to fantasy football games, Player Manager maximises potential returns by allowing additional games to be played by simultaneously generating multiple teams for the player.

With its automated auctions and real-time results paying out every week, the product offers the prospect of lucrative cross-over appeal to the fantasy sports and sportsbook markets.

Max Francis, the commercial partner manager at Openbet says that Player Manager brings appealing features from the traditional fantasy sports domain and advances these to the sportsbook market.
