Danish online casino revenues increase 25 percent in FY-2015.
 
The Danish regulator Spillemyndigheden has published Q4-2015 and FY-2015 numbers, commenting that Q4 GGR for both betting and online casino was higher than the same quarter in 2014.
 
In Q4-2015 the GGR for online casino grew nearly 25 percent year on year, representing the fourth consecutive quarter where GGR was more than 20 percent higher than the corresponding quarters in 2014.
 
GGR for betting in the quarter increased more than 30 percent y-o-y, significantly higher than the three first quarters of 2015 where the growth rate was 5-10 percent.
 
Q4-2015 betting numbers reached DKK560 million, online casino DKK350 million, and online poker DKK40 million for total GGR in the quarter of DKK910 million.
 
For the full year, betting recorded DKK2,030 million, online casino DKK1,325 million and online poker DKK165 million, totalling DKK3,355 million.
 
The full Danish land and online gambling market delivered GGR of 8,350 million in 2015, with the average Danish punter spending DKK 1,900 over the year, up from 2014's 1,750.
