Implementation scheduled for early 2011
Sports fans looking for some in-play betting action on the Stan James.com sites will soon have new facilities following an agreement between the tier one Gibraltar-based online bookie and in-play software specialist Zukido.
Zukido has been chosen as the partner for the re-launch of the Stan James in-play sports betting platform, which will provide all StanJames.com customers with the opportunity to place a bet on a wide range of live sports in real-time through a rich media player on their PCs. The new in-play platform will be launched at the start of 2011.
With in-play betting proving to be a core growth area industry wide, StanJames.com has made a significant seven figure investment in the improvement and re-launch of its in-play betting product. Zukido will supply the design and build requirements for the customer facing sport betting console.
The new resulting multi-lingual product will feature the entire portfolio of sports that StanJames.com currently offer, including specialist live score board views in football, tennis, cricket, basketball, darts and snooker. The score boards clearly display the current status of each sporting event and the console offers related real-time betting propositions.
Other features of the console include live statistics, real-time text commentary, mini games and the integration of a rich media player to allow users to watch TV speed pictures of sports and racing events on their PCs.
StanJames.com chief executive Denis Kelly said this week: “StanJames.com invented in-play betting which is at the forefront of the live betting industry, and we believe that our new in-play product will enhance our customers’ overall enjoyment of their betting experience. Zukido’s console is critical to delivering the information that our customers require in order to receive the best experience from our wide range of in-play markets.”
