EUROSPORTBET LAUNCHES TOTE HORSE RACING

GTECH G2's MarginMaker platform integrates horse racing with other sports betting offerings

EurosportBET has launched tote horse racing on its French label, EurosportBET.fr. GTECH G2's MarginMaker platform integrates horse racing with EurosportBET's other sports betting offerings. SPS Betting, which also operates EurosportBET.co.uk, was one of the first out of the gate earlier this year when it launched EurosportBET.fr immediately after France opened up its online gaming market. It is one of a handful of operators licensed to take fixed odds wagers on sports.

Development of EurosportBET.fr was a joint effort in which a EurosportBET programming team used G2 MarginMaker's public APIs to create their own version of the web site where they have been taking wagers on football, tennis and rugby since June.

"The Sports Betting Team at GTECH G2 supported us in integrating the new PMC tote system on our MarginMaker engine, from early specification stages to the move to production," said Frederic Tardieu, Director of Program Management at EurosportBET.

"We're proud of MarginMaker's capacity to integrate various sports betting products so seamlessly and take any bet, across any channel for any business model," said Paul Mears, VP Sports Betting at GTECH G2. "We look forward to helping EurosportBET maintain cutting edge sports betting products in both France and the UK."

MarginMaker is a product of the Finsoft sports betting software team at GTECH G2. The MarginMaker platform provides a full end-to-end sports betting solution supporting fixed odds, pools and spread betting on all sports, via call centre, internet, mobile and retail. It supports sports betting operations globally, in the UK and Ireland, Singapore, Spain, Chile, Serbia and Romania and has demonstrated its ability to handle any sport and almost any bet type available worldwide.

EurosportBET.fr is the commercial brand of SPS SA, a subsidiary of Eurosport, fully owned by the French media leader TF1. Mostly known for operating the largest European free TV channel, the Paris- and Alderney-based TF1 Group's activities cover the whole of the audiovisual industry.
