Wilf Walsh has been appointed interim chief at Fortuna

Tasked to strengthen company's position in current markets
 
The Fortuna Entertainment Group's (FEG) vice chairman of the management board Wilf Walsh has been appointed interim chief executive officer from January 2012, replacing Jiří Bunda who has resigned from the company.
 
Walsh's immediate priority involves further strengthening FEG´s position in its current markets.
 
Jozef Janov, chairman of the FEG Supervisory Board commented:  "Wilf guarantees continuity and a further positive development of Fortuna. I am convinced that the company will benefit from his greater involvement in day-to-day business of Fortuna and his broad experiences with different European markets."
 
"The permission of on-line betting in Poland is a unique opportunity for us as well as intensive development of the lottery business in the Czech market," added Walsh.
 
Walsh also serves as a non executive director of Gala Coral and previously served as Gala's managing director, he additionally holds the position of strategy betting advisor of British Horse Racing.
 
The interim appointment will run until Fortuna's shareholder meeting planned for May 2012.
