Wsop Event 28 : $2,500 buy-in Pot-Limit Omaha


6/18/10 – In event 28 – the $2,500 buy-in Pot-Limit Omaha contest, 596 hopefuls were reduced to 102 on the first day and then 12 on the second.
 
Day 3 started Thursday afternoon with Canadian ace Miguel Proulx enjoying the chip lead, but with French player Patrick Hanoteau hot on his heels. Along with ten other players they were angling for the bracelet and the main prize of $315,311 set for this event.
 
Notable eliminations have included Chau Giang, Sandra Naujoks and Josh Tieman.
 
BY 9pm Vegas time Thursday night the following 7 players remained in the hunt:

Miguel Proulx  940,000
Michael Greco  583,000
Trevor Pope  344,000
Karl Gal  316,000
Joerg Engels  260,000
Stephane Tayar  210,000
 
The first two eliminations on the final table were Patrick Hanoteau in ninth place for $25,044, and Tommy Le in 8th Place for $32,254.
