Three top-line executives let go

Don Mattrick, the newly appointed chief executive officer at social gaming firm Zynga, has announced sweeping changes to the company's top management structure.

Following a review of the company, Mattrick has initiated a flattening of the executive management structure that will see the abrupt departure of three top-line executives named as chief operating officer David Ko, chief technology officer Cadir Lee, and chief human resources officer Colleen McCreary.

Mattrick said the changes will provide Zynga the best chance to grow for long term success and the changes reinforce his desire to get Zynga back to a strong leadership.
