Major gambling Deal for Barcrest

Content sharing partnership with the Global Draw unveiled

IGT-UK subsidiary Barcrest Group has revealed that it is to withdraw from its Ladbrokes Supplier Evaluation exercise in favour of an industry-wide agreement to provide content for over 20 000 machines produced by The Global Draw, a producer of server based gaming machines.

The deal covers over 7 600 LBO machines that will be provided by The Global Draw to Ladbrokes, which means Barcrest Group will supply games and programs across all 20,000 terminals in The Global Draw’s estate.

Robert White, managing director of IGT-UK Group, said: “We have been evaluating the strategic direction of Barcrest Group for some time and concluded the best route to market for Barcrest Group content in the LBO market is through a broader, stronger relationship with The Global Draw.

“We are excited about this partnership. The quality of content is recognised as being the key driver within the LBO market and Barcrest Group has a very strong track record of providing top quality games. The Global Draw delivers exceptional terminals and operations, so by aligning the complementary strengths of our respective businesses we will provide a first class gaming solution across the LBO market as a whole.

“As a result of this alliance, and in conjunction with the recently announced agreement between Ladbrokes and The Global Draw, Barcrest Group's content will be available on over 20,000 terminals across the LBO market"
