HTML5 game transports users to the 1920s underworld
Online gambling games developer Habanero has lifted the lid on the seedy underworld of 1920s organized crime with its latest video slot title, Gangsters.
This HTML5 slot takes its cue from notorious prohibition-era mobsters, with five in-game characters who offer players cash prizes or free spins when the feature is triggered by a spinning newspaper headlined “Who Did It?”.
Habanero CEO Nic Ioannoy said the game’s popular subject matter and innovative gameplay mechanisms should give it a wide cross-territory appeal.
“Gangsters is the product of more than 18 months of development, and it shows. It is our first game in HTML5 that has all the symbols animating. Playing Gangsters feels like watching one of the classic crime and Mafia movies,” he added.
