Jan Stefanek appointed as general manager of the Fortuna gambling group

Effecive March 1st, Jan Štefanek (33) has been appointed as general manager of the Fortuna gambling group in Poland. He was formally director of the sales network and sales director of Fortuna, a position he accepted in February 2007.
 
Stefanek joined the Board of Fortuna zakłady bukmacherskie Sp. z o.o in July 2007. He holds a degree in economics and management from the Business University in Ostrava, and prior to Fortuna he worked as a project manager for Koras Trade between 2000 and 2002, where he was responsible for a construction of telecommunication network for the mobile operator Český mobil (currently Vodafone CZ).
 
In 2003 and 2005 he was a real estate developer and participated in a number of large real estate development projects in North Moravia. Later, in 2006 and 2007 he worked as manager development projects with the construction company TCHAS.
 
Stefanek replaces Aleš Dobeš who resigned from the post and pursue other career opportunities.
