Ladbrokes Board Changes


BOARD CHANGES AT LADBROKES

In anticipation of transition to Ladbrokes Coral merged business.

Ladbrokes announced changes to various non-executive director positions Wednesday as the company prepares to transition to Ladbrokes Coral.

Mark Clare was appointed Senior Independent Director (SID) and Chairman of the Social Responsibility Committee and Stevie Spring as Independent Non-Executive Director and Chairman of the Remuneration Committee, with immediate effect.

The appointments were made under the terms of the merger agreement between Ladbrokes and Coral which detailed the assignment of new non-executives and a SID that had not been part of either the Ladbrokes or Coral Board prior to the announcement of the transaction.

Current Non-Executive Directors of Ladbrokes plc, Sly Bailey and David Martin, have stepped down from the Ladbrokes Board with immediate effect.

Following these changes to the Board, Mark Pain was appointed a member of the Remuneration Committee, Mark Clare was appointed a member of the Nomination Committee and Remuneration Committee and Stevie Spring was appointed a member of the Audit Committee, Nomination Committee and Social Responsibility Committee.
